Frankie Stein's Turn

Following my pictures of Draculaura and Ghoulia, I continue with Frankie Stein.  She has had 9 incarnations so far, of which I have 6 of them.  (Drac has 8 and Ghoulia 7 so far).  I do not have the Black and White Comic Con girl, the 2.0 Wave and now the other black and white skull shores version, that may or may not be a dealer exclusive but that for sure, I will not paid sky high prices o ebay for.

The first and original Frankie

The girls with the red lips,

The Party girls

Love how all the dolls have different variations of the black and white hair.  I tend to like more black than white but when you have them all together you have many versions.
Hanging out on the couch.  Pink overload. Sorry for the poster in the back.  I was playing with light in the kitchen.
There is something to be said for blue lips.

The Gloom Beach/Dead Tired girls which I will redress in some of the other extra outfits that I've found.

Now how did that get in here!!  Maleficent wanted to get into the blue/green skin action and felt that she deserved to be included so here she is!  Who's going to argue with her?

 Next up is Cleo!

Ghoulia Yelps takes some Pictures

Well, I'm hoping to continue to photograph my MH collection and as I was home from work today and it is bitterly cold out there, I decided to continue with Ghoulia.  To be quite honest, I am not sure which of these girls are my favourite but I do have a soft spot for Ghoulia.  I love coloured hair, and she has the coolest collection of glasses out there.  Zombie or not she rocks it... I am missing the Gloom Beach edition, as there is no Target here in Canada yet and as I have the other girls, it seemed pointless to buy them again to get one doll and also I did not get the San Diego Comic Con Deadfast version.  I have the School Activities outfit which does include a little deadfast character and a comic book as well.

 The Original Ghoul

Home Ick and her Dodgeball,

Dead Tired, again one of the prettiest versions,

Newest girl, Skull Shores with her little coconut brain drink,

Tried to show her cute flip from the side.  These girls have so much hair.
Now the Fearleading Squads Number One fan...

Dawn of the Dance Ghoulia in her party frock and masses of blue hair.

Dead Tired changed into the Club/School Activities outfit with yet more glasses, this time in green.

Close up without the glasses.  (sorry for the stray hair)
She has one other outfit, the second one that comes with Home Ick but I will have to try it on her at a later date.

Who shall come next?

1st Day Of the New Year

Today is the first day of the new year 2012 and it has been a mild and rather wet day so we stayed home, except for a lovely brunch with the family and relaxed and did not much of anything, which is sometimes nice to do.  TV has been mostly running marathons of everything from The Mentalist to Once Upon a time and even The Honeymooners.  I watched many old musicals and movies over the last few days and so I decided to play with some dolls.

Like many other doll collectors lately I have been bitten by the Monster High bug.  These dolls are the "bee's knees", as they used to say and have alot of bang for the buck but of course you can end up with too many before you know it.   Today I decided to photograph my Draculauras.  One is missing from the group because she's hanging out at work - Dawn of the Dance but the others are here.  Similar face paints on them and I hadn't even noticed that Dead Tired has no fangs, and is by far, IMO, the cutest of the bunch.

A group shot,

Dead Tired and Gloom Beach

The Original

Fearleading Squad Drac

Draculaura 2.0, School's Out

And the latest Sweet 1600,

And a few more group shots,

I'm going to continue to try and photograph the others in the next few days.  This should take my mind off the hunt for Cupid.

Happy New Year to all!!
